How to add customers and suppliers
The counterparty card, details, statuses, the "Documents" tab and the settlement balance.
A counterparty is any company or person you deal with. Customers and suppliers go into the same "Counterparties" list; the only difference is which documents they appear in.
Create a counterparty
- Open "Counterparties" and click "Create".
- Enter the "Name" the way you call this company at work: "Keramik Plus LLC" or "Kava na Rynku cafe".
- In the "About the counterparty" block enter phone, e-mail and address.
- In the "Details" block choose the "Company type": legal entity, sole proprietor or individual. For a legal entity fill in the EDRPOU code, for a sole proprietor the tax number (the "TIN" field). These details are printed on invoices and delivery notes.
- Click "Save".

A faster way is to create the counterparty right from a document: click "+" in the "Counterparty" field, enter the name, save. Details can be added later.
Counterparty list
The list shows name, phone, e-mail and type. The search on the right looks through name, phone and code. To separate customers from suppliers, give them tags ("Customer", "Supplier") in the card and filter by tag.

Status
The counterparty card has a "Status" field: "New", "Proposal sent", "Negotiating", "Deal closed". It is for the sales team: it shows the client's stage. Statuses can be renamed to suit you (see Statuses).
The "Documents" tab
The most useful tab in the card: every document of this counterparty with dates, amounts and payment marks. Here you see at once that the Lvivskyi Dvir hotel has order no. 00001, with an invoice issued, a shipment made and a payment received.
Balance
How much the counterparty owes you (or you owe them). Shown in the card on the "Indicators" tab and in every document under the "Counterparty" field. A positive number means they owe you; negative means you owe them. The balance comes from posted documents: shipments and invoices increase the customer's debt, payments reduce it. How it works: How to record payments and see debts.
Contracts
If several contracts are signed with a counterparty and the debt must be tracked per contract, create them in "Counterparties" → "Contracts" and pick the contract in documents. Most small companies do not need contracts: a counterparty is enough.
